How do I check if a UPI ID is a scam?
Paste the UPI ID into the BharatSecure scanner on the homepage. We check it against our database of reported scam UPI handles and return an instant verdict — Safe, Suspicious, or Dangerous.
Can BharatSecure detect WhatsApp scams?
Yes. Paste the suspicious WhatsApp message, forward, or link into the scanner. Our AI checks for phishing patterns, urgency language, OTP requests, payment demands, and known scam signals.
Where can I report an online scam in India?
Report cyber fraud to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal at cybercrime.gov.in or call 1930. You can also submit the scam to BharatSecure to help protect other Indians.
Does BharatSecure store the messages I scan?
Submitted content is processed to produce the scan result and is stored to improve scam detection. Scam identifiers in a submission (phone numbers, UPI IDs, links) may be kept for threat intelligence. We do not sell personal data. To request deletion, email hello@bharatsecure.app.
